Charger Take-Back Program
When customers receive their Ampower product, they can reuse the original mailer to send back old chargers, cords, and power banks for responsible recycling. Our partnership with Call2Recycle, a nonprofit battery stewardship organization that works with major retailers like The Home Depot and Lowe’s, ensures these items are processed safely and kept out of landfills.

Step 1: Scan the QR code
-
Each Ampower package includes a QR code linking directly to our recycling page.

-
Customers scan the code to access a form where they enter their address and order number.

Step 2: Find the nearest facility
-
After the form is submitted, our site identifies the nearest Call2Recycle processing center from a network of over 16,000 participating locations across the U.S.

-
This allows chargers and small electronics to be routed to a specialized battery and e-waste recycler.

Step 3: Print the prepaid label
-
Customers receive a prepaid shipping label by email, which they print and tape onto the original Ampower mailer.

-
Ampower covers the shipping cost and has built an estimated average of about $0.60 per unit into overall production costs and margins.

Step 4: Recycle and reuse
-
The package is sent directly to the nearest Call2Recycle facility, eliminating the need for Ampower warehousing and extra handling.

-
Call2Recycle focuses on batteries and portable electronics recycling, similar to programs run with Home Depot and other national retailers, which have helped collect millions of pounds of rechargeable batteries.
